Winifred "Winnie" J. Naples


She graduated from Steelton High School; was employed by the Pennsylvania Game Commission for 17 years and retired as a mailroom supervisor; was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Steelton; and she loved gardening, camping, fishing, traveling, and round and square dancing.

 She is survived by her husband of 60 years Joseph C. Naples; daughters Wanda Jonsen of Vancouver, B.C., Canada, and Lynne Sjoberg of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; sons Joseph M. Naples and David A. Naples of Middletown; 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, at the Frank E. Matinchek and Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 260 E. Main St., Middletown, with the Rev. Carol Parr officiating.
 Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.

 Viewing will from 9 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

 In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 33 N. 2nd St., Steelton, PA 17113.
