Remember those who gave all for our country: LaVonne Ackerman

Wishing you all a lovely long  holiday weekend. Take time to remember and appreciate those who gave it all for their country. We might not know someone who sacrificed their life for our country, but we probably do know those who have lost that special loved one.

Let’s be a people of gratefulness and peace as we honor the men and women who gave all that they had for the freedom we can celebrate on Monday, May 28 — Memorial Day.  I remember my dad, Charles H. Kruse Jr., who was lost while on active duty, Feb. 20, 1963. I thank God for him and for what his selflessness means to me, to all of us.

Have a wonderful week.
