Lower Swatara police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects caught on video in a string of car break-ins over the weekend on Georgetown Road.

Police responded to reports of two car break-ins in the 1900 and 1200 block of Georgetown Road at 1:54 p.m. and 4:47 p.m. Sunday, but police believe the thefts occurred overnight. Both cars were unlocked, said Acting Police Chief Dan Tingle.

According to Tingle, a wallet and purse containing credit cards were taken from a car parked in the 1900 block. Tingle said the wallet and purse were found down the street without the credit cards.

A bluetooth adapter was taken from a car parked in the 1200 block, Tingle said.

A video shared shows three suspects walking, and one of the suspects attempting and successfully entering a car parked on the street.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police by submitting a tip at www.lowerswatarapd.org or by calling 717-939-0463.
