Fall looks a little different in Florida, too.
Fall looks a little different in Florida, too.

Hello, people. I hope you’re having a beautiful fall. You can’t beat central Pennsylvania and her beautiful October days. Even if the leaves are stubborn in their turning process, you can’t explain the beauty and freshness of the smell of October air!

Now, Florida ... it is always pretty cool to enjoy the breeze rustling the palms as you enjoy warm weather. It is tough on the mind, thinking it is still warm out, it must be August! However, they have Halloween stuff for sale and Christmas trees in stores! I find myself thinking, what month is it? The calendar says October, the weather feels like August.

Pennsylvania has time for some Indian Summer temps so some of you may be feeling a little confused, too!

Have a wonderful week and don’t forget to share your news!

Quote of the Week

“The best way to do ourselves good is to be doing good to others, the best way to gather is to scatter.” — Thomas Brooks, non-conformist Puritan preacher.

Question of the Week

What is your idea to unite people?

“Songs. Music with an upbeat rhythm. And my banana bread!” — Wendy Weiss, Aledo, Texas.

“Teach them about God!” — Jon Benkovic, 8, Lower Paxton Township.

“Teach people how to be friends.” — Anna Benkovic, 10, Lower Paxton.

“Buy them Chick-fil-A!” — Ryan Benkovic, 5, Lower Paxton.

“I unite people over food and activity. I like mixing my different friend groups with an activity that gets them talking to each other.” — Jenny Hammer, Hershey.

“First pray and find out what God thinks about this! People need to see love demonstrated. Un-united people may respond to love from their ‘enemies’ if God shows specific ways to engage and assist others. Forgiveness. Only God’s plan can unite us.” — Bill Seaton, Hummelstown.

Proverb for the Week

The labor of the righteous is life, but the earnings of the wicked are sin and death (10:16).
