Georgine L. Smith May, 77, formerly of Middletown, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 17, at Select Speciality Care Hospital of Harrisburg.
She was born in Middletown on March 8, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Forrest C. and Florella Kain Smith.
She was a graduate of Middletown High School; was of the Baptist faith; she was a homemaker; and she enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles, bull riding, bird watching, and above all, she loved her Lord and the love that she gave her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving companion of 27 years Frank P. Farkas of Palmyra; six sons Gerald Sellers Jr. of Harrisburg, Steven Sellers of Middletown, Gary and wife Ruth Sellers of State College, Mike and wife Margie of Linglestown, John Sellers of Shermans Dale, and David Sellers of New Jersey; two daughters Kay, wife of Mike Daly of Hummelstown, and Nanci, wife of Steve Carpenter of Palmyra; two sisters Wilma Lentz of Texas, and Vicki Williams of Harrisburg; one brother Robert Smith of Texas; 12 grandchildren; several great‑grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, at Caring Community Church, 7176 Redtop Rd., Hummelstown.
Memorial contributions may be made to Frank Farkus in honor of the service for Georgine May.
