Breakdown for Tuesday, June 2: Southcentral region tops 5,400 coronavirus cases

The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed 612 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 72,894 in all 67 counties.

The state also reported 100 new deaths, for 5,667 total, in 55 counties. Tuesday’s statewide increase in total cases was about 0.85 percent.
