Posted

Here is a look at the numbers by county in Pennsylvania according to numbers released Saturday by the state Department of Health, including the number of cases and day-over-day change, negative tests and day-over-day change, and number of deaths with the day-over-day change.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed 725 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 66,983 in all 67 counties.

That’s about a 1.1 percent increase from the previous day, one of the smallest increases since the beginning of the pandemic.

The state also reported 112 new deaths, for 5,096 total, in 54 counties.

The highest one-day increase in total cases statewide remains 1,989 on April 9.

We are listing the county numbers by their Department of Health regions, to group them in the way the state is looking at them for possible reductions in restrictions from the coronavirus.
