Breakdown for Friday, June 5: Almost half of daily coronavirus case increase comes from just 3 counties

The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed 443 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 74,385 in all 67 counties.

The state also reported 69 new deaths, for 5,886 total, in 55 counties.

Friday’s statewide increase was about 0.6 percent, one of the lowest percentage increases so far. The highest one-day increase in total cases statewide was 1,989 on April 9.
