UPDATE

From Middletown police —  "The lost/sick dog has been reunited with her owners. Thanks to everyone who took the time to share the information on their Facebook page."

Previously reported on pressandjournal.com:

Middletown police are still looking for the owner of an injured or sick dog recovered by officers over the weekend.

The dog is being cared for by the Shores Veterinary Emergency Center in Harrisburg. The dog appears to be about 12 years old or older. Her injuries don't appear to be the result of a recent traumatic incident, as first thought.

Anyone having information on the dog’s owner should call police at 717-558-6900.

The lost dog was found in the area of Adelia Street and Linden Street. The dog is medium size, brown and tan with a graying face, described by officers as very friendly.
