Two people were injured in a rear-end collision on Middletown Road in Londonderry Twp. at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, according to Derry Twp. police.

A red Subaru headed northbound on Middletown Road rear-ended a white Toyata Sienna as they approach the intersection with Swatara Creek Road, said police Sgt. Robert Demmel.

The driver of the Subaru and a passenger in the Sienna were transported by ambulance to Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Demmel said, for the treatment of unspecified injuries.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the crash.

The cause of the accident is unknown, Demmel said.
