Raiders need balanced scoring to succeed this season

Without question, last year’s boys’ basketball season was a bit of a disappointment for Middletown Coach Chris Sattele. With just 7 wins against 15 losses, the team failed to make the District 3 Class AAA playoffs following appearances the previous two seasons.


Sattele and assistant Ron Stetler, along with junior varsity coach Matt Kleinfelter, are looking to turn things around in 2013. With a good nucleus of returning players on the roster, that could very well happen.


Getting more balance on the offensive end of the court will be a key if the Blue Raiders are to succeed in the new season.


“Last year we depended a lot on one player and we want to change that this year,” Sattele said.
