Nevil and Harmon are MAHS Students of the Month

Middletown Area High School seniors Alexis Harmon and Timothy Nevil recently were selected as December’s Students of the Month.

Alexis is the daughter of Brad Harmon and Lisa Wolf.

She is a member of many clubs in the high school: National Honor Society, Link Crew, Mini-THON, PRIDE Club, FCCLA, Key Club, and Prom Committee. Alexis also has an internship in the main office of the high school.

Alexis was a varsity player for volleyball and was named a Mid-Penn Conference Volleyball All-Star and a member of the Mid-Penn Conference second team.

Alexis works at Doc’s Roller Skating Rink, and she plans on attaining her bachelor’s degree in teaching/education. Her goal is to be an MAHS teacher after college.

Timothy is the son of Martyn R. and Julia L. Nevil.

Tim is a Mini-THON chairman, and is also a member of PRIDE Club and Link Crew. Tim is the sound technician for the school’s musicals, and a reporter on the Raider Newscast “Tim & Tim.” He is the WMSS station manager and sports director. Additionally, he has an internship for Penn State Health, Department of Public Health Services.

Tim is a member of the marching, concert and jazz bands and is the president of the Blue Wave Marching Band. He is also the president of Tri-M Honor Society, and was the recipient of a Tournament of Bands Scholarship.

He is employed at Klock Entertainment and The Hershey Story. After high school, he plans on majoring in infectious diseases and immunology in college.
