The Middletown field hockey team got off to an 0-2 start under new coach Sierra Lenker last week.

Against Northern York on Thursday at home, the Blue Raiders fell 5-0, with the game being called after the first half due to strong storms.

At Camp Hill on Wednesday, Middletown lost 8-0.

“We have a busy schedule of four games next week, so we will be fine tuning and recalibrating our plays in the days ahead,” said assistant coach Shawn McCreary.

The team was scheduled to play at East Pennsboro on Tuesday, at Bishop McDevitt on Thursday, and at Susquehanna Township on Saturday, then return home against Milton Hershey on Sept. 18.
