Lower Dauphin will honor George Emerich, the first Falcon basketball player in school history to score at least 1,000 points, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 before its boys' basketball game against Exeter at the high school.

 

Emerich, a 1962 graduate, scored 1,222 points in his high school career.

 

He attended West Chester University and entered the field of business.
