Experienced Falcons seek "proverbial next step"

To say that the Lower Dauphin boys’ basketball team has experience would be an understatement: Eight seniors lead the way for the Falcons, and expectations are high this season.


“We have a lot of guys back, and a bit of experience back,” said Coach Mark Hofsass. “These guys have been starting varsity basketball for one or two years, so they understand what the intensity is going to be like. For first-year players, it can be kind of intimidating, but I hope we’re over that.”


And expectations are raised because the players aren’t just experienced – they’re pretty good. The team’s 14 wins were strong enough for a District 3 Class AAAA playoff appearance last season.{jcomments on}
