Edna B. Kucinski

Edna B. Kucinski, 86, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in Harrisburg Hospital.

Edna was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on November 4, 1933 to the late Alfred and Edna E. (Castor) Bauer. She was the widow of Anthony C. Kucinski.

Edna was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Middletown and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Hamilton, N.J. She was a retired employee of the State of New Jersey where she worked as an office manager. Edna enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. She also enjoyed spending time, traveling and participating in numerous activities with her friends from Frey Village.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter, Catherine Lisle Kucinski, her brothers, Alfred and Harold Bauer and her sisters, Virginia Clarke and Ruth Gillespie.

Edna is survived by her daughters, Susan L. and husband Herbert McGrath of Leola, Pa., Barbara E. Kucinski-Gilbert and husband Neil of Sunset Beach, N.C. and Linda J. and husband Robert Giaquinto of Hamilton, N.J.; her grandchildren, Chad, Jessica, Bobby and Chris; her great-grandchildren, Clark, Ellianna, Haley and Ezra; and her sisters, MaryAnn Henry and Elizabeth Smith.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at her church at 121 N. Spring St., Middletown, Pa. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11a.m., Thursday at her church. Burial will be at 11 a.m, Friday, December 13 in the Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley, Pa.
