He was a self-taught guitarist and was a member of the band The Polka Kings for many years. He truly enjoyed getting together with family and friends and entertaining them with his musical talents. He was also an avid card player and sports fan. He was especially proud of his favorite teams, the Philadelphia Phillies and the Penn State Nittany Lions. He loved country music and reading the newspaper, cover to cover. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
The family has chosen to hold private services at their convenience.
His final resting place will be at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church, St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Spring and Union Sts., Middletown, PA 17057.
