The Middletown field hockey team dropped three games in the last week.

They stand at 1-6 on the season.

On Sept. 10, the Raiders lost to East Pennsboro 3-0 in what coach Sierra Lenker called a hard-fought game.

“The girls played tremendously, not allowing any goals in the first 35 minutes of play,” she said.

“This is a team that has beat us by double digits nearly every meeting in the past two seasons,” Lenker said.

Natasha Manfred had 8 saves.

On Thursday, Middletown lost 1-0 to Bishop McDevitt.

Manfred had 2 saves.

“While we were certainly capable of a win, we were unable to get the offensive momentum that we needed to capitalize in the circle,” Lenker said.

Middletown had three shots on goal.

On Saturday, Middletown lost 3-1 against Susquehanna Township.

Kiera Guckavan scored the lone goal, unassisted.
