Birthdays different for young vs. old: LaVonne Ackerman

Today, March 27, is my Grandma Louise’s birthday. She was born in 1895. Of course, she has passed on, but it is interesting to think about how her life was back in her day. Happy 124th birthday, grandma.

Birthdays are so funny, aren’t they? When we were little they were such a big deal. We looked forward to cake and a special time. As we grow older, some of us would rather not celebrate one. Others, well, you can’t get enough of birthday times, whether it is yours or someone else’s. Birthdays are a time of joy and a time to celebrate life!

So, what is the best way, or your way, to celebrate the day you entered this world? Read below to get some ideas.
