Rain washed out Middletown's important boys' tennis match with East Pennsboro – a clash that was scheduled on Wednesday, April 8 between the third-place Blue Raiders and second-place Panthers in the Mid-Penn Conference's Colonial Division.

The weather also forced the cancellation of a match between the Raiders (7-3, 4-3 in the division) and last-place Bishop McDevitt.

But Middletown did get to play one match – a 5-0 victory over Harrisburg Academy on Thursday, April 9.

The Raiders easily cruised to a shutout of the Spartans (1-3), winning 67 of the 89 games in the match.
