The Dauphin County 4-H 10th annual Benefit Auction will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 19 at the Middletown Fire Department fire hall, 10 Adelia St.
Proceeds will support the development efforts of more than 3,300 Dauphin County youth. Auction funds help youth attend county, regional, state and national leadership conferences and competitions where youth develop lifelong learning skills.
The auction also finances the 4-H Fair, the 4-H Achievement Night Awards Ceremony and educational materials and workshops.
Auction items include numerous club-themed baskets; furniture, including an antique oak roll-top desk; collectible farm toys and tractors, pedal tractors and collectible cars and trucks; mulch; jewelry; handmade soaps; and prints by artists Ned Smith, Gerald Putt and Jeff Hoffman.
A silent auction will feature restaurant gift certificates, golf outings, hotel gift certificates, theater tickets, sporting event tickets and more.
A food stand will be serving homemade soups, sandwiches and baked goods.
